Sam E. Yamaha is a Beat-maker, Songwriter, and Producer signed to Moshi Moshi Records.

He is currently hard at work on a number of Hip-Hop projects, including producing McKinley Dixon’s eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2023’’s ‘Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?’

Released in 2023 to widespread critical acclaim, ‘Beloved’ solidified Dixon’s reputation as one of Hip-Hop’s most visceral, vital voices, featuring in many album end of year lists including Rolling Stone’s best albums of 2023, The Needle Drop’s Top 25 album’s, Line of best Fit (13th), Consequence (7th), and Paste (3rd).

Sam is also beat-making and producing other projects including Chicago Hip-Hop luminary Ivy Sole, and Chinese/Vietnamese-British rapper Jianbo, one of the fastest rising stars of the UK underground Hip-Hop scene.

Following the massive viral hit ‘I Really Wanna Stay at Your House’ (which currently has over 186 million streams on Spotify and was no.1 in Spotify’s Viral charts for weeks) 2024 will also see the recording of Rosa Walton’s debut album, featuring multiple co-writes by Sam and with David Wrench (FKA twigs, Frank Ocean, Sampha, Shygirl) producing.

As well this, Sam is currently collaborating with Grammy nominated Hip-Hop legend Quelle Chris, (Mello Music Group) genre-defying Shamir (Kil Rock stars), and recent 4AD signing Anjimile. He is also producing the incredibly gifted songwriter Jeanie White’s debut album.
